The Science of Watercolor

We are excited to welcome a local watercolor artist Beth Gable to The Thinking Spot. Beth plans to share a fun interactive DIY activity for kids. This activity centers around the science of diffusion and it's fun role in watercolor. Kids will get watercolor foldable canvas and use watercolor paints to make their own creations. They will see the magic of mixing salt in with watercolor to create a unique painting. 

• Appropriate for ages 5 and up
• Activity is free but please RSVP so we can purchase enough supplies.
• First come-first served, activity limited to first 20 responses or visitors.
• We recommend that kids bring a large t shirt to cover their clothes. 
• Masks are required due to mask mandates and for the safety of all who attend.
• A wide selection of Beth's art will also be available to browse and purchase from 10 to 6pm. 
• There will also be a free DIY bookmark station open from 12 to 6 pm.
