Independent Book Store Day

Independent Bookstore Day (IBD) is a one-day national party that takes place at indie bookstores across the country on the last Saturday in April.  Every store is unique and independent, and every party is different. But in addition to other fun stuff, there are exclusive books and literary items that you can only get on that day. Not before. Not after. Nowhere else.

Scheduled Activities :

• Popup Coffee Tasting (10:00-1:00pm): Mary Halbrooks of All Beans Considered will provide specialty coffee tasting as well as info about upcoming specialty coffee workshops at The Thinking Spot!
• Book signing (10:00-11:00am): Author Dani Carlin of Little Naturalists preschool will be available to sign her book and some fun outdoor activity for kids! 
• Book siging (1:00-2:00) Author Anna Bliss of #postcardsfrommpls
• Book signing (2:30pm-3:30pm): Author Ben Orlin of the best-selling Math with Bad Drawings books will be available to sign his books!
• Origami demo (11:00a, 2:00p, 5:00p)
• Drone Demos (weather permitting)

All-day (DIY):

• 3D Printing demo
• S.T.E.A.M experiment stations based on Liz Heinecke's books.
