About the event
We were at a loss as to what to do in light of the recent tragic event in Minneapolis! Anything we say or give seemed pointless and too little until we realized what we do have is a community in need of mending. And, we have space we can offer to this community!
So, we're hosting an afternoon of "mending" ( This is a family-friendly event; kids of all ages and their Adults are welcome! )
Bring anything that needs mending, Michelle will have supplies to help you do that.
If it's your heart that needs mending, we will have supplies to make protest signs. You can take them to your next protest or not! We think it will be cathartic just to write some slogans down! To get them out of our brains and onto something, to say it out loud in company of community!
