About the event

The Thinking Spot in collaboration with Coffee Studio Minneapolis is offering Coffee Workshops at the Spot throughout summer. Sign up for one or signup for all! Bring a friend or come by yourself and deepen your appreciation of coffee with each workshop!

Coffee originated in the wild of Ethiopian forests but was first cultivated in Yemen as early as the 15th century. How did coffee spread across the globe to become such a popular everyday hot beverage? Today more pounds of coffee are grown for worldwide consumption than tea. As we taste coffees from different countries Mary will lead you on a journey of coffee’s spread across the globe from Ethiopia to over 50 countries today.

Attendees will take home a bag of coffee, a postcard size global map of coffee as well as a book on coffee picked out specifically by Mary to match the event.
