| Dr. Jessica LaMae Whited is a biologist and assistant professor at Harvard University. Her lab investigates how axolotls regenerate limbs. Jessica earned undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Biological Sciences at the University of Missouri and a PhD in Biology at MIT. Her scientific career was sparked by exploring woods and fields as a child. Jessica loves axolotls because they hold so many mysteries. Bethany Lord is an illustrator based in London, UK. She started drawing from a very young age and now works in children's book illustration. She draws on her experiences from traveling and experiencing different cultures to create new pieces of work. She loves to read, play the guitar, watch movies, cook and bake in her spare time. |
