About the event

Conservation Minnesota’s mission is protecting the Minnesota you love by solving our state’s most important conservation problems. Their work is centered around bringing people together across regions, backgrounds, and beliefs to find real solutions.

As summer gets here in earnest and we head out to the parks and waters of Minnesota, this will be a good reminder to appreciate the efforts of conservationists before us and be mindful of things we can do to preserve these lands for future generations!

Youth Coordinator Isabel Istephanous' job is to get kids interested in conservation by connecting them with meaningful projects, by creating accessible and equitable programming for schools. Isabel has a BA in Biology and Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Social Science from St. Olaf College, has worked as a student naturalist, volunteering and organizing with various environmental organizations as an undergrad, and spent summers in prairies researching native bumblebees!

Come meet Isabel and learn all about Conservation Minnesota's work as well as their youth programs and find out how you and your kids can be a part of the conservation movement and make a difference in our environment and our lives!
