Code Savvy Presents: AI Art and Storytelling 

Generative AI is changing creative work all around us - whether it's art or creative writing or even coding. If you're curious about all the noise around it, but not quite sure what it is or confused about the different acronyms and words thrown about, this is the session for you!

Join us for an afternoon of exploring ways to creatively express ourselves using generative AI!

We will work together to draft and illustrate stories, and then learn how to use Google Workspace to publish those stories to the web to share with our family and friends!

We will have laptop stations for you to use, so you don't have to bring your own!  

• You will learn about the advances in AI that have made these Art and text-generation AI's so popular. 
• You will have a chance to create your own AI images as well as experiment with prompts for ChatGPT - the text generation AI.
• You will learn their unique language, and build sentences to prompt the AI to transform your imagination into text or art that will amaze you in more ways than one.  
• You will also learn how these AI's are built, their limitations, and how we must wield this incredible power with great responsibility. 
• You will learn how to signup for these AI services, and how it is changing creative work the and how the community is applying its power in their personal and professional lives. 

This event is being held as a fundraiser for CodeSavvy.org, a non-profit dedicated to the development of opportunities for people of all backgrounds to engage in computer science and technology learning activities.  Your contribution will help CodeSavvy bring AI programming to students across the state!
