About the event

The Thinking Spot in collaboration with Coffee Studio Minneapolis is offering Coffee Workshops at the Spot throughout summer.  Sign up for one or signup for all! Bring a friend or come by yourself and deepen your appreciation of coffee with each workshop!

In this class we will discuss where coffee is grown and taste coffees from many different origins. As we sip the coffees, we will discuss what makes the coffee unique to each country and region. All coffee is grown in what is known as the coffee belt but do you know why? How do Ethiopian coffees taste like compared to Brazilian coffees? Why is the flavor profile of a Central American coffee so different compared to a Kenyan coffee?

Attendees will take home a bag of coffee from their favorite origin, a note card showing flavor profiles of coffees by country as well as a book on coffee picked out specifically by Mary to match the event.
