About the event
The Thinking Spot in collaboration with Coffee Studio Minneapolis is offering Coffee Workshops at the Spot throughout the summer. Sign up for one or signup for all! Bring a friend or come by yourself and deepen your appreciation of coffee with each workshop!
Join this class to learn all about specialty coffee with a coffee-tasting expert. We will taste and notice what makes specialty coffee so special. As we taste the coffees Mary will help you appreciate what you are tasting. What is the flavor profile of a coffee and which is your favorite? Sweet, chocolatey, and mild or bright, fruity, and juicy? We will discuss how to interpret the descriptors on a bag of specialty coffee so you can better understand what you are buying and how to order a drink at a specialty coffee shop that you will enjoy.
Attendees will take home a bag of coffee of their preferred flavor profile and flavor descriptor notecard as well as a book on coffee picked out specifically by Mary to match the event.
