About the event
In honor of Computer Science Education Week, we are hosting an "Hour of Code" at The Thinking Spot.
The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts. Check out the hourofcode.com.
This is an open coding session - all are welcome!
Bring your laptop or tablet. We will help you get setup if its your first time OR pick a project and jump right in! We will be coding too!
The theme of this year is AI - of course! There are several AI based projects available to choose from - or do a non-AI one - all good!
