About the event

Appropriate for age 3+!

Brains On! is an award-winning audio show for kids and families. Each week, a different kid co-host joins Molly Bloom to find answers to fascinating questions about the world.  Their mission is to encourage kids’ natural curiosity and wonder using science and history…but there’s no age limit on curiosity and episodes of Brains On can be enjoyed by anyone.

Molly Bloom, Marc Sanchez and Sanden Totten -  became friends while working at Minnesota Public Radio and decided to create a show for kids. In addition to their podcast, they have written 3 books - 2 of them just released:

  1. Earth Friend Forever: Brains On is back with a picture book about our planetary best friend: Earth! When Earth has a problem it turns to its pals, the humans, for help. This beautifully illustrated story is packed with smarts and humor.
  2. Road Trip Earth : Packed with scientific research, mind-boggling trivia, and laugh-out-loud jokes, Molly, Marc, and Sanden explore the earth in this highly illustrated fact-filled book that delivers a brain-bending, jaw-dropping, belly-laughing good time.
  3. It's Alive : Molly, Marc, and Sanden present a humorous, fact-and fun-filled look at life on Earth — from deep-sea creatures and carnivorous plants to the human body and stinky bacteria.

All 3 of them are in town for a Brains On live performance at the Fitzgerald AND they have graciously agreed to come to The Thinking Spot on Saturday the 14th to talk about their work,  answer your pressing science questions as well as to sign their books!

Don't miss this rare opportunity to meet the entire team and get your most curious science questions answered!
