About the event
Taking science to the community is a passion of Liz’s (https://kitchenpantryscientist.com/), and she frequently appears and does science with kids at library programs, scout meetings, and STEM, STEAM and tech festivals. Liz also blogs and makes videos for Scholastic’s website and does science segments for Happi House TV. She appears regularly on WCCO (CBS) and Twin Cities Live (ABC), has created a kidscience app and has written several wonderful STEAM activity books for kids. Last February, she released a book about Marie Curie and the dancer inventor Loïe Fuller, for general audiences. Her latest book - Physics for Kids - comes out in February 2022. And she has more books coming out later in the year!
Whew! How does she do it all? Find out when she visits The Thinking Spot for a book signing and maybe an experiment or two - how amazing is that!
All her books will be available for book signing. Pre-orders for her new books coming out later in the year will also be available.
Space is limited. Registration is required to attend. RSVP early to reserve your spot.
