About the event
Minnesota Telecommunications Network (MTN) is a non-profit organization established in 1984 that today is responsible for operating the public access channels for the City of Minneapolis on Comcast's and CenturyLink's cable communications systems.Â
MTN maintains and operates a fully equipped and staffed public access production studio facility in Minneapolis where they offer media and technology training services to the public.Â
MTN hosts a variety of tech and media-focused events throughout the year, providing opportunities for networking, learning, and collaboration. Their events cater to individuals from all backgrounds and skill levels, fostering an inclusive and supportive community.
In November, The Thinking Spot is partnering with MTN for an AI-Generated Micro-Simulation Event
Do you want to learn how to use AI to create your own microsimulations?Â
You will use the CREATE Discovery cards to learn about CREATE topics (Computation, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, Technology, and Energy) while getting robots to write code, which you can test for fun and prizes!
Join us for this hands-on, friendly competition to see who can create the best micro-sims with the help of AI. No coding experience necessary, just bring yourself and your curiosity!
This event will be ideal for middle and high school students, but families are encouraged to attend together.
