Health Sciences: Preparing for the Next Pandemic - 12:30pm
What have we learned from past pandemics—and how can we apply those lessons to protect public health in the future? Dr. Michael Osterholm, internationally recognized epidemiologist and author of a new book on pandemics and preparedness, will lead a wide-ranging discussion on the realities of global health security. Joining him are pediatrician Katie Schaefer and emergency physician Christine Kletti, who bring frontline perspectives on the challenges and innovations shaping modern healthcare. Moderated by journalist Chris Dall, the panel will explore how science, policy, and clinical practice intersect, and why pandemic preparedness must remain a priority for communities and leaders alike.
